If you do not agree to them, you may not use and access this website. The Cochinechine website ("Cochinechine"/"we"/"our"/"us") is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use this website for any commercial purpose.
We have taken great care to ensure that the items on our website are presented as accurately as possible. However colour clarity will depend upon your own personal monitor; we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour of the actual item is absolutely accurate.
Before placing an order please read through these Terms.

When you register you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
When you order an item from cochinechine.com you are offering to buy it for the price stated, subject to these Terms. There are a series of instructions on our website that will guide you through the process of placing an order with us.
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order, providing you with a payment reference and the value of your order that will be debited from your credit/debit card. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Cochinechine. We are not obliged to supply the products you have ordered, unless we have them in stock and at the price stated.
If the item you have ordered is out of stock, or subject to a delay for whatever reason, we will endeavour to contact you at the e-mail address you have provided. If we cannot contact you, or get no reply to our e-mail, we will not supply you with a substitute product, unless you have instructed us otherwise.
We will not dispatch your goods if we let you know that your order hasn't been accepted, or if you have cancelled your order in accordance with the returns policy set out below.
Once we dispatch the items to you, we will send you an e-mail notifying you of this. This will be our acceptance of your order and this completes the contract between you and us. The deemed time and date of receipt by you shall apply regardless of whether, for reasons outside our control, you have not received that email.
We may not accept your order if:
- An item you have ordered is out of stock
- Your payment is not authorised
- We identify a product or pricing error
- We discover the product is faulty
We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you, at any time and at our sole discretion. If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. See the Returns policy set out below.
We will endeavour to keep our Website as up to date as reasonably possible but we cannot guarantee that any particular item will always be available. If we cannot supply any item we will release the funds being held in your account for the purchase.

COUPON CODES
We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified purchases.
Discounts and promotional discount codes offered by Cochinechine are valid only for use as part of a purchase made via the website, unless otherwise stated.
Certain products may be exempt from promotional offers, including new season and lifestyle products as well as selected leather goods and exclusive designer items. If these items are in your shopping cart, you will not be able to apply and use the coupon code. In this event, you will need to remove these items from your shopping cart to enjoy the discount.
Promotional discount codes are only valid during the period identified and on the dates and for the products specified. Where the redemption of a promotional discount code is subject to a minimum spend requirement, redemption is only permitted in respect of the purchase of the qualifying products.
The terms and conditions of use relating to any promotional discount code will be specified at time of issue. Please note that to use our promotional codes you will need to register or log in.
Cochinechine reserves the right to cancel online vouchers or promotional discount codes at any time.
DELIVERY
We at cochinechine.com will make every effort to deliver your chosen items to the place and person of your choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time.
All UK orders are shipped via DHL with a minimum delivery charge of £10.00 per UK delivery address and £25 for overseas orders. Overseas orders are shipped by DHL for a secure delivery. We insure each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. If you wish to track your parcel, please contact us and we will email you a tracking number which can be used on the DHL website - www.dhl.com.
Most orders will be dispatched within 3 working days subject to credit clearance, address verification and availability of items. We will contact you if there is a delay or items are out of stock.
Delivery outside the EU may be subject to local import taxes, which are your responsibility where they may apply. If so, the shipping company will contact you by telephone once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Please be aware that this may delay the delivery time as goods held at customs will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.
Please order from cochinechine.com with enough lead-time to prevent any disappointment resulting from the delivery time as cochinechine.com cannot be responsible for this.
All new orders are deemed separate and each is treated individually.
If your order is not delivered within the time specified at ordering we will notify you and try to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
As cochinechine.com online purchases may be delivered to addresses other than the billing address given by the card holder, for example as with the case of a gift being purchased and addressed to a friend. As a security precaution, an e-mail and a copy of the invoice will be sent to the card holders registered e-mail address and home address, and we will require a signature upon delivery for all goods shipped.

UK and all overseas orders are shipped by DHL.

RETURNS / EXCHANGE POLICY
At Cochinechine, customer satisfaction is always our top priority, and therefore we handle each query individually and to the best of our ability. Whilst we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, if you are not, we will happily offer you a full refund or exchange in compliance with our policy.
Unsuitable items may be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of our dispatch date.
Within 48 hours of receiving an item, you must obtain a return authorisation reference number by e-mailing us at shop@cochinechine.com. Please include your original receipt in the returned parcel and write your return authorisation reference number on your original receipt. Any items that are not accompanied by the returns number will not be accepted. Any returns received after the 14 days are accepted at the sole discretion of Cochinechine and will only be refunded with a credit note that can be used both online and in-store.
For ease, as well as cheaper, more competitive rates, please contact us to provide you with a DHL return account number. The return shipping charge will be deducted from your refund.
Cochinechine will only exchange an item for the same item in a different size, subject to availability; if you wish to purchase a different item you must place this as a new order.
Jewellery purchased online through our website will need to be shipped back to us for return or exchange within 3 working days of receiving the item. Please note that we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on earrings. In addition, lingerie cannot be returned or exchanged. Please be aware that footwear must be returned in their original designer box and dust bags. Footwear returned without their original boxes and or dust bags will not be accepted.
It is essential that, in order to receive a refund or exchange, the item(s) must be unworn, unwashed and in perfect condition, with all labels attached and in its original packaging. Cochinechine has the right to deny any item if it does not meet the return policy requirements. In such cases, we will return the item(s) to the purchaser.
Any refunds will be re-credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card for the sum paid less any taxes, duties and postal costs. As we are not responsible for any returned goods lost or damaged in transit, we would advise you to return items by registered post/DHL. Please note that the postal costs for returned goods are the customers’ responsibility, and will only be reimbursed if the goods are damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied.
For international returns, please note clearly on any export documentation and on the address label that the goods enclosed are returned goods. This will ensure we are not charged any further duty or taxes on receiving the goods back into the UK. If this procedure is not followed, this cost may be passed onto the customer at the company's discretion.
The customer's statutory rights are unaffected.
For sale items, the return procedure remains the same, except goods must be returned to us within 7 days of the issue of your return authorisation reference number.
In the event that cochinecine.com runs a free shipping promotion, you should contact us for our DHL return account number.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made securely online by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Maestro cards. Orders can also be placed by telephone. The credit/debit card that is being used for the purchase must be yours. All credit/debit card holders will be subject to the usual validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. In the event that your card issuer refuses payment, Cochinechine will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. In any event, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
By submitting an order to us using our website, you guarantee that the payment details you have provided us with are both valid and correct. You also guarantee us that when the order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full.
When placing an order on our website, if the billing address and delivery address are the same, you are confirming that you are the person referred to in the delivery address details. Otherwise, you are confirming that you are the person referred to in the billing details.
